The library
You do not have to think up anything yourself to get started. Here are automagics that work: small routines your Mac runs on its own. Click one and it opens in the app, and there you decide whether it gets to stay.
Requires Automagisk on a Mac running macOS 26 or newer
How to read the cards
Every card is labeled with how far the recipe reaches. The labels are not written by hand. They are worked out from the file you actually get, every time the page loads, so they cannot say anything other than what the recipe does.
Reads and writes locally, and talks to no service other than the AI model you chose yourself in the app. No other programs are controlled.
Fetches something from outside your machine, or sends something out. The address is on the card. If it also reads something of yours, that gets a label of its own: two harmless steps can add up to a way out.
Runs a terminal command, controls other programs, or lets the AI choose for itself. Then the whole command or the whole script is on the card, in plain text. Read it before you click.
No recipe from here is active when you get it. It opens as a proposal in the app, switched off and with no standing permissions. Nothing runs until you have read the steps and said yes, and steps that reach outside your machine ask you every single time.
The recipes
Made one yourself?
The library is hand-picked, not open. That is on purpose: everything here has been read line by line by a person first. It is also why submissions go by email and not through a form.
.automagi file.Trond reads it. If it gets in, it turns up here with your name on it. If it does not, you will be told why. Either way it takes as long as it takes, and sometimes that is a couple of weeks.
The file is read before it goes up, and recipes that need the terminal or a script get in less often than the rest. Not because they are banned. Because they are harder to vouch for.
The honest caveat: we promise to read, not to publish. We promise no date either. If you send something in, you give us permission to put it up here and in the app, with or without your name, as you prefer. If you want it taken down later, write to us and we take it down.
